  Baptism enquiries

Interested in Booking a Baptism?
WE want you to know straight away
that we are always glad to welcome new families into our church life.

We are delighted that you are thinking about having your baby or child Baptised.

Baptism is a very special event in a person’s life, at whatever age, it is the moment when the Living God claims us as His own, and promises to stay with us through all of life’s ups and downs.

Read on to find out more.

TO book a Baptism
you need to do two things:

1) Telephone Canon Ian Wills, the Vicar ( 0117 967 1511) who will take a few basic details from you and tell you what to expect.

2) You (the parent[s]), and the chosen Godparents, must attend two baptism preparation evenings.

These are held in the church on certain Mondays, 7.30 - 9pm, throughout the year.

During those evenings we look at the baptism service and help you to understand what baptism means.

The date of your child’s baptism will be agreed at one of these evenings.

SEE & KNOW
is our toddlers group.

We have more than fifty families who attend.

Everyone knows a good time when they see it – here it is!

The ‘See & Know’ page
has more information.

Church in the Hall
is our Sunday 10.15am all-age service.

Lots of young families attend and we would love to see you there too.

It is always so much better to come along and see what happens for yourself...

You can be assured of a warm welcome
