We are delighted that you are thinking about having your baby or child Baptised. Baptism is a very special event in a person’s life, at whatever age, it is the moment when the Living God claims us as His own, and promises to stay with us through all of life’s ups and downs. Read on to find out more.

1) Telephone Canon Ian Wills, the Vicar ( 0117 967 1511) who will take a few basic details from you and tell you what to expect. 2) You (the parent[s]), and the chosen Godparents, must attend two baptism preparation evenings. These are held in the church on certain Mondays, 7.30 - 9pm, throughout the year. During those evenings we look at the baptism service and help you to understand what baptism means. The
date of your child’s baptism will be agreed at one of these evenings. |
