Pastoral care and prayer
OUR vision is to be a life giving community open to all by offering pastoral care and prayer to families and individuals. We seek to keep in touch with people in need through visits, phone calls and prayer. Pastoral care and healing prayer are not a quick fix for life's problems, but they can bring us signs of God’s presence, some-times in very wonderful ways. They create spaces for us to reach out to God and in return feel the strength of God's love sustaining and sheltering us.	WE HAVE: ● A Prayer Board in church. All the names there are prayed through in our daily prayers; ● ‘Prayer Chain’ for a quick response of prayer to urgent pastoral needs. ● Prayer with anointing and the laying on of hands is available at many of our times of worship on Sundays. ● Ministers who will arrange to go to people's homes and pray with them if asked. ● A team offering on-going support to bereaved individuals and families. .	WE SEEK: TO share the healing love of Christ in ways that open us to the light and power of God’s Spirit. Through the Holy Spirit many things become possible. We don't have all the answers, but we do know that God's love is the most powerful thing in the world. If you do not yet know the power of his love - it is never too late. We will be delighted to tell you more and to pray with you. No one need feel alone carrying the burdens of sickness or sorrow. God loves you very much and wants you to know the power of his love for yourself.
