Vision & purpose
the  Alpha Course NOW a world famous phenomenon, millions of people have shared in it. It is a great way to explore what being a Christian means and join others who also want to learn more, share a meal, a short video and conversation. A typical Alpha Course: ● lasts ten to twelve weeks ● is open to everyone ● is FREE! To find out more and be sure of an invitation to the next Alpha Introductory Evening, just get in touch. GO! Course   THIS is the next step after Alpha, for you to grow 'stronger' in Christian faith. We study Matthew's Gospel and learn from Jesus himself. Our focus is to meet and support one another. A GO! Course meeting includes an Alpha style presentation and time for discussion. Additional home group meetings give time to think, share, discuss and learn together.	Our visioN  To be a life giving community open to all. We are seeking to achieve this in 4 ways: ● Relating to our community. Building on existing links and developing new ones. ● Using the Alpha Course to introduce new members to Jesus Christ. ● Growing in faith together with the GO! Course and Home Groups. ● Pastoral care and prayer for healing whenever we are asked.	School Links THE vicar and foundation governors have strong links with St. Stephen's Church of England Junior School, and welcome them into church several times a year. HOME GROUPS A great way to support and encourage each other in our Christian faith. Home groups meet regularly: three 'terms' of four to six weeks each year.
